Robert E.Strahorn (born Robert Edmund Strahorn Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, May 15, 1852 - San Francisco, California, March 31, 1944) was an American journalist, writer and entrepreneur who among the Plains Indian wars, war correspondent was for several major American newspapers.
He later worked for the Northern Pacific Railway and was a pioneer in colonization of the American Northwest.Through his publications, Strahorn exerted great influence on the imagery of the Wild West.
