John Ira Courtney (April 27, 1889 – April 15, 1968) was an American sprinter, who competed at the 1912 Summer Olympics in the 100 m, 200 m and 4 × 100 m relay events.
In 1909–1914, he won several championships as a sprinter and hurdler, and later became a handball player.
