John Richard Clancy (March 8, 1859 – April 21, 1932) was an inventor, businessman, and politician from New York.He is most notable for his efforts to develop and market standardized theatrical stage equipment, including rigging and fire curtains.
He is also notable for his service in the United States House of Representatives for one term.
