Joseph Francis Rummel (October 14, 1876 – November 8, 1964) was a Catholic prelate who served as Bishop of Omaha from 1928 to 1935 and Archbishop of New Orleans from 1935 to 1964.
He is best known for excommunicating racists during Jim Crow while desegregating the Archdiocese of New Orleans.
