Géza Maróczy

Géza Maróczy (Hungarian pronunciation: [ˈmɒroːt͡si ˈɡeːzɒ]; 3 March 1870 – 29 May 1951) was a Hungarian chess player, one of the leading players in the world in his time.

He was one of the inaugural recipients of the title International Grandmaster from FIDE in 1950.
