Mehdi Huseynzade

Lieutenant Mehdi Huseynzade (Azerbaijani: Mehdi Hüseynzad?;Russian: ????? ??????????; 22 December 1918, in Novxani, Azerbaijan – 2 November 1944, in Vitovlje, Slovenia) was an Azerbaijani guerrilla and scout during World War II.

He was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union on 11 April 1957.
