Patrick Edward McGovern (born December 9, 1944) was the scientific director of the Biomolecular Archaeology Laboratory for Cuisine, Fermented Beverages, and Health at the University of Pennsylvania Museum in Philadelphia, where he was also an adjunct professor of Anthropology.
