Yoshitsugu Tatekawa

Yoshitsugu Tatekawa (建川 美次, Tatekawa Yoshitsugu, 3 October 1880 – 9 September 1945) was a lieutenant-general in the Imperial Japanese Army in World War II.

He played an important role in the Mukden Incident in 1931 and as Japanese ambassador to the Soviet Union he negotiated the Soviet–Japanese Neutrality Pact in 1941.
